Regional Ministry for Youth and Sports
of Extremadura

The “Regional Ministry of Youth and Sports” - Regional Government of Extremadura exercises the competencies in terms of youth initiatives and sports policy. Created in 2004, it is nowadays the only Regional Ministry in Spain working actively in the field of sports.

It has several initiatives in relation to social inclusion through sports (disabled, women, youth, senior population) and cooperates with regional and local sports organizations to initiate action on grassroots level.

It will thus enrich Creating a Level Playing Field by a wide background and experience in the field of social inclusion through sport activities and sport policies.
